How to check the Hash Value (SHA256) of a file

  1. Open Windows PowerShell
    (Windows key + R → type powershell → Enter).

  2. Enter the command (adjust the path):

     
    Get-FileHash "C:\Path\to\yourFile.zip" -Algorithm SHA256

  3. The hash value will appear in the Hash column.
